Online sales for the annual OYAN Raffle are now live!

The online sales will run for two weeks, closing on Tuesday, April 23rd. If you’d rather purchase tickets in person, we’ll have live sales at the OLA Conference from Wednesday, April 24th – Friday afternoon, April 26th. 

  • The OLA Raffle to benefit OYAN drawing will occur on Friday, April 26th, 2024 at the end of the Awards Lunch during the OLA Conference in Salem, OR.  You need NOT be present to win. We’ll get the items to you!
  • No more than 750 tickets will be sold.
  • Proceeds support OLA’s subdivision OYAN in providing continuing education and scholarships which enhance teen services in libraries.
  • This raffle is open to residents of Oregon who are 18 years of age or older.
  • Online sales end on Tuesday, April 23 at midnight.

2019 OYAN Raffle

The approach of the 2019 OLA-WLA Conference can only mean one thing… It’s OYAN raffle time!  All the money raised goes to promote young adult library services in the state of Oregon including providing scholarships for professional development for individuals who serve teens in Oregon libraries.

Tickets are $5 for a single entry or $20 for five entries. Buy your tickets today before they sell out! You do not need to be present to win.

Prizes include some old favorites such as two tickets to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and the coveted two night stay at the beautiful Sylvia Beach Hotel. There are some new comers like the party pack at Voicebox Karaoke as well as some truly unique prizes like a handmade silver cuff bracelet from Distaff Jewelry, and an Eleanor and Park gift basket complete with an autographed copy of the book. But one thing remains the same.

 

 

Ticket sales start today for OLA raffle sponsored by OYAN

Greetings Oregon librarians and people who love libraries!

It’s time to buy your tickets for the annual OLA raffle sponsored by the Oregon Young Adult Network (OYAN).  Online ticket sales start April 17th at 10 AM online at http://bit.ly/152p91l .  The price is $5 for 1 ticket or $20 for 5 and sales are limited to 600 tickets total.  After online sales end on Tuesday the 23rd at 8 PM, in-person sales will continue April 24-26 during the OLA/WLA joint conference.  Winners will be announced on Friday, April 26th at the conference. 

The raffle is open to the public and being advertised statewide in the Oregonian this year, so we recommend buying early.  We have numerous great prizes including a 2-night stay at the Sylvia Beach Hotel, great tickets to the Literary Arts festival, a voucher to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, an amazing Astoria package that includes a hotel stay, kayak rental and more along with many other prizes.  The raffle benefits teen service in Oregon’s public libraries.  OYAN is a part of the Oregon Library Association.  Get your tickets soon!
